The 2020 Tropical 7s takes place on the 10th/11th April 2020 at the Omni Orlando Championsgate Resort, Florida, USA. Fields are available to participating teams for training from Monday 6th April. To register your team for the tournament, please read the information below and click '2020 Team Registration Application' at the bottom of this page. The following table shows the current availability for each division:

Please complete the requested registration details and pay the tournament registration fee below. You will immediately receive a confirmation email indicating that payment has been made. If you wish to register multiple teams, please register and pay for one team at a time. If you wish to pay by check or by Paypal, please enter the code 'OTHER' on the check out page. You will then be contacted by the Tropical 7s team about making payment.
Team registration is pending until confirmed by the The Tropical 7s team who will respond within 10 days of receiving full payment of the registration fee to notify you of official acceptance and division placement along with further tournament details, next steps and any relevant deadlines. There are a limited number of team spots in each division. If the division is full, you will be offered the opportunity to be 'waitlisted' if/when a team space becomes available. A full refund will be provided should you not wish to remain on the waitlist.
Teams wishing to withdraw their registration from the Tournament may be issued a full refund prior to 1st January, 50% partial refund before 28 February, and no refund after 28 February

For teams domiciled in the USA, the registering team including players, coaches and other staff must be members in good standing with USA Rugby and meet USA Rugby's eligibility guidelines, including ensuring all participants have completed the required USA Rugby membership forms, signed the mandatory waivers and release forms, and paid the mandatory membership fees.
For teams domiciled outside of the USA, the registering team (including players, coaches and other staff) must be in good standing with its own approved governing body and will obtain official clearance (Permission to Tour letter) to play in the tournament from its home union, to be submitted no later than 28th February 2020.
Every player in the tournament is required to complete and sign a ‘Player Consent & Medical Release’ form. If the player is under the age of 18 at the start of the tournament, this form must be completed and signed by the player’s parent or legal guardian. A player, once registered for a team, irrespective of whether he or she has taken part in the tournament, cannot register or make themselves available for registration in any other team. All players must adhere to the tournament's age eligibility regulations.
A waiver may be submitted for players within 3 months of the deadline (i.e. June/July/Aug 2001 birthdates). A team may have no more than 2 waivered players.
All U14 players may weigh no more than 185lbs (players may be requested to be weighed).
Players representing University teams in this division must be matriculated full-time in a recognized University program (University teams only).
A waiver may be submitted for players older than the above age cutoff. A team may have no more than 2 waivers.
Any teams and players that do not adhere to the tournament’s team and player eligibility rules may be prohibited from participating in the tournament. Tournament organisers will not refund or be held liable to any costs associated with a team or player’s enforced withdrawal from the tournament due to non-conformity to the eligibility rules.
The maximum squad size for any team playing in the competition is 15, with a maximum roster of 12 for each individual match. Up to 5 substitutions can be made in any given match.
Teams can only register 1 team per division unless otherwise agreed with the Tournament Director.
Tournament Organizers will endeavour to satisfy a team's preference to play in an 'elite' or an 'open' division (where available at that age grade) but reserve the right to move teams between divisions to maintain competitive balance.
A player, once formally rostered to a team cannot register or make themselves available for any other team participating in the tournament. (Player rosters will be requested from teams no later than 2 weeks prior to the event and confirmed at on-site check-in.)
