The Tropical 7s Talent ID Programme facilitates the identification and recruitment of aspiring young talent playing at the Tropical 7s tournament by rugby recruiters including national selectors, college/university coaches, academy directors, etc.
Tropical7s features the top high school-aged players (both boys and girls) from across North America and attracts players around the world in a truly unique rugby competition. As an official stop on the elite North American High School Championship 7s Series (NAHS7s), Tropical 7s has developed a strong reputation within both the national and international rugby communities to ensure a high standard of competition that aspiring high school-aged players are seeking.
The Tropical 7s Talent ID Programme grows each year and has attracted national selectors from USA and Canada as well as college coaches from various higher education rugby programs within the US and abroad.

INFORMATION FOR RECRUITERS
Recruiters wishing to attend the 2020Tropical 7s and participate in the Tropical 7s Rugby Futures Programme can do so FREE OF CHARGE but must register below in advance no later than Friday 27th March.The benefits of registering for the programme are as follows:
Observation of both competition days on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th April 2020
Observation of team training (all day) and the Athlete Combine (12-6pm) on Thursday 9th April 2020 - including electronic access to data/results of athletes that participate in the Combine.
Electronic access to player rosters and details of participating team coaches for every team attending the tournament
Invitation to attend the Team Managers and Coaches Opening Reception, providing an opportunity to network with coaches and staff from participating teams in the tournament. (6:30pm on Thursday, 9th April 2020).
Opportunity to have a promotional space within the Tropical 7s ‘Village’ at the match fields on both tournament days (Friday 10th and Saturday 11th April 2020)
Invitation to attend the Tropical 7s Awards Presentation & Sunset Pool Party following the conclusion of the tournament (7pm on Saturday, 20 April 2019) (Optional meal can be purchased separately)
Access to Tropical 7s benefits including discounted accommodation rates at the Omni Orlando Resort

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Thursday 9th April 2020:
Team training sessions (all-day)
Athlete Combine (12-6pm) – delivered in partnership with USA Weightlifting
Coaches & Team Managers Opening Reception (6.30pm - Golf Clubhouse, Omni Resort)
Friday 10th April 2020:
Tournament Day 1: 8am-6pm – observation of tournament matches – pool play. Recruiters offered the option of having a dedicated promotion space at the match fields.
Saturday 11th April 2020
Tournament Day 2: 8am-6pm: Observation of all Tournament matches – resumption of pool play and knock-out stages.
Awards Ceremony & Sunset Pool Party following conclusion of the Tournament – 7pm.
